Alexander McQueen collection for Spring/Summer 2012 was Sarah Burton's third one as the creative director of the label. Full of McQueen's trademarks and ideas SS'12 collection was inspred by underwater magic. Models looked like fantastical mermaids with lace-bound heads and layers of soft fabrics cascading over their bodies. Silky chiffons, fine laser cut leather, feathers, ruffles, drapings, embellishements, silver and gold ripples composed together, looking like sea shells and ocean life, morphed into breathtaking outfits. Lee McQueen spirit lives on in Sarah Burton's designs...
